An intermediate painting group that meets each Wedneday 1 - 4 PM throughout the year at the Warren County Rescue Squad Building.

Members meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month to study Scripture led by members. Begins at 9 AM. We are a close-knit group of believers who meet in members’ homes to share and pray about joys and sorrows.

A book club that meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10 AM at the Roanoke-Wildwood Fire Dept; book discussions, plus lectures, trips, and guest authors.

For advanced players—we meet every Tuesday (except 3rd Tuesday) at 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM at Norton’s Restaurant, Henrico, NC. Substitutes are welcome.
Canasta
Canasta
Canasta is an easier card game than bridge with melds, bidding, and lots of fun. We meet 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 12-4 PM at Norton’s Restaurant, Henrico, NC, for lunch and Canasta.

Members principally do cross-stitch; however, all forms of needlework are done with lots of assistance. Instruction is available. We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 1-4 PM in members’ homes.

Friends get together each Friday at noon to play cards, Hand and Foot, or any other games that interest our members.

A large choral group of ladies who love to sing and share their interests and talents with others. Practice is every Thursday morning at the Lake Gaston Baptist Church—usually 9:30 AM—11:30 AM.

Gaston Gourmets
The group enjoys good food, exploring and preparing new recipes and learning about different cuisines. We mostly meet in members’ homes but also take an occasional cooking-related field trip. Meetings are the first Thursday of each month at Noon.

Meetings are comprised of trips, speakers, and subjects pertaining to gardening and outdoor projects. Meetings are the 2nd Monday of each month at 1 PM (unless noted in the Shorelines) ending in the month of May.

This card game group meets at Norton’s in Henrico, NC, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 11:30 AM — 4:00 PM for lunch and fun playing Hand ‘n Foot.

Members get together most Fridays to play Hand ‘n Foot in the Bingo Hall of Roanoke Wildwood Volunteer Fire House from 12:30 PM — 4 PM. Members bring snacks to share and their own beverages.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday at 1:00 PM in members' homes and do all kinds of needlework - knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, needlepoint AND visiting.

We meet in members’ homes on the 2nd and 4th Mondays from 1 PM—4 PM. Each participant brings a project they are currently working on: cross-stitch, crocheting, knitting, quilting, even hemming.

If you are interested in making greeting cards, favors, or decorations using paper and stamps, this is the place to be! We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 9:30 AM at Prospect United Methodist Church in Ebony, VA, beginning in October.

A group interested in learning about antiques. The Vintage Gals travel to historic sites, antique stores, have guest lectures, show, and always enjoy lunch. The Vintage Gals meet on the 4th Wednesdays of each month.

Lake Gaston Ladies Club is a non-profit social club for women who live on Lake Gaston or in Lake Gaston subdivisions. Its mission is to provide friendship and support to its members and to participate in outreach programs designed to help those in our community.
