BIBLE STUDY
Members meet on
the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month to study Scripture led
by members. We are a close-knit group of believers
that share and pray about pur joys and sorrows. Study
at 10:00 AM, Lake Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce, 2357
Eaton Ferry Road, Littleton, NC for anyone looking to know God
better!
BIRDS
OF A FEATHER
Members meet the 4th Monday of each month,
September to May. We plan to learn bird
identifying cell apps
and websites. Online classes to share. Annual bird counts will
take place. Visiting rescue centers, share live feeds of
nests, Speakers, and NC Bird Atlas
group. The group will share knowledge related to the art of
bird watching.
BOOKERS
A book club that
meets the 1st Wednesday of the month, September-June, at 10 AM
at the Lake Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce, 2357 Eaton
Ferry Road, Littleton, NC to have book discussions.
FRIENDS WHO
COUNT
Members actively
cross-stitch, knit, crochet or any other form of needlework
that involves "Counting Stitches". Members are willing to
share any knowledge they may have about different techniques
and offer assistance. New members are always welcome! We meet
the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 1-4 PM in members’ homes or the Lake
Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce, 2357 Eaton Ferry Road,
Littleton, NC.
GAMES
All sorts of games
will be played and learned—Complication, Push Rummy, Five
Crowns, Mexican Train, Rummikub, etc. Meeting throughout
the year at the Warren County Rescue Squad Building on
Enterprise Road, Littleton, on the 2nd and 4th Mondays from
12:15 PM — 4 PM. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!
GASTON
GOURMETS
This group meets
monthly to learn about and experience different foods and have
fun!! We find new places as well as chefs to show us recipes,
tips, and tricks on all food sorts. We travel to local places
as well as afar. We are a lunch bunch that meets the first
Tuesday of each month September to May.
GASTONETTES
A large choral
group of ladies who love to sing and share their interests and
talents with others. Practice is every Thursday morning at the
Lake Gaston Baptist Church—usually 9:00 AM—11:00 AM.
GREEN THUMBS
Meetings are
comprised of trips, speakers, and subjects pertaining to
gardening and outdoor projects. Meetings are the 2nd and 4th
Mondays of each month at 1 PM (unless noted in the Shorelines)
ending in the month of June.
HAND &
FOOT I
LINE DANCING
Enjoy and learn
all types of line dancing to a variety of music. We meet every
Tuesday at the Lake Gaston Fitness Center, Littleton at 4 PM
during the months September through May.
MAH JONGG I
This group enjoys
playing an ancient Chinese tile game. We meet the 2nd and 4th
Fridays at 1 PM in members' homes throughout the year.
MAH JONGG II
This group enjoys
playing an ancient Chinese tile game. We meet the 2nd and 4th
Tuesdays at 11:30 AM at Casa Mia's in Littleton for lunch and
Mah Jongg from 1:00-4:00. You must have your own Mah Jongg
card. NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!
PINOCHLE
Couples (any two
people) play once a month for 4 months and meet in each
other's homes. Then a new group is formed to play the next
four months.
RED HOT MAMAS
We are all about
Ladies, Lunch and Laughter! We only have two rules and those
are to have fun and do interesting things. We meet on second
Thursdays of every month, September through May.
SHE DOERS
Join us to explore
the great outdoors, and maybe a few indoor adventures too! We
meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Time will be
determined by the activity planned. Come have fun with us!
A STROKE OF
LUCK
This is an all
level painting and crafts group that meets each Wednesday 1 -
4 PM throughout the year at the Warren County Rescue
Squad Building on Enterprise Road, Littleton.
VINTAGE GALS
A group interested
in "old things!" The Vintage Gals travel to historic sites,
arrange for guest speakers, sometimes organize their own
antique "show and tell"and always enjoy lunch! The Vintage
Gals usually meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
WHINE
NOT
Members meet to taste and discuss wine. They will meet in
Oct., Dec., Jan., Mar. and May for
2024/2025. They meet at Lakeland
Cultural Arts Center, 411 Mosby Avenue, Littleton, NC.
